因果推論や機械学習の手法を活用し、医療の質に関する研究や認知症の疫学研究に取り組んでいます。これまでの研究成果は、Annals of Internal Medicine、JAMA Surgery、Journal of General Internal Medicine、American Journal of Epidemiology をはじめとする国際的な学術誌に掲載されています。
